Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities.
- Supervise tax staff and ensure quality control of tax filings.
- Stay updated on tax legislation and advise management on tax implications.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to support decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in tax management, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tax reporting.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team.
Salary:
